Recruiting is the single most important business process within any company… or, so Robert Richardson might have you believe. Skirting the line between business transformation leader and technical product expert, Robert focuses on the impact technology has on organizations looking to enhance Sourcing, Recruiting, and Onboarding efficiencies.

A background in Industrial Organizational Psychology grounds the approach he takes when consulting with a client’s senior leadership and internal stakeholders. As internal LOB leader and external consultant, Robert works to insure outcomes are measurably improved. After all, every great company stands on the passion, talent, and grit of the people who ultimately drive its business outcomes and revenue. Robert has a passion for matching companies with technologies required to find those people.

Background | EXPERIENCE
Over the last decade, Robert Richardson has partnered with hundreds of organizations to apply innovations in technology to complex business challenges. As the 12th employee at startup, Jobs2Web, Robert served a critical role in the growth of a pioneering Recruiting Marketing Technology. A testament to its success, Jobs2Web became the clear leader in a marketplace of tech startups inspired by the measurable impact its platform was having on client outcomes.

In 2011, Jobs2Web was acquired by SuccessFactors and Robert Richardson worked along with leaders in the recruiting line of business to tie innovative Recruiting Marketing Technologies together with its existing Applicant Tracking System in order to drive ever increasing business impacts to clients.

As SuccessFactors subsequently became acquired by SAP and its portfolio of products continued to widen, so too has Robert’s ability to (and obsession with) delivering innovations to HR. For the last several years, Robert Richardson has helped lead a line of business in partnership with Product Management, Client Services, Sales, External Partners, and other techies to apply an arsenal of innovations to complex business challenges companies face in an ever changing landscape of fascinating technologies.

EDUCATION | OTHER INTERESTING INFORMATION

A bit obsessed with Organizational Sciences, Robert pursued a Bachelor degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where he specialized in graduate level studies in the Industrial Organizational Psychology Program, a nationally top ranked program. Robert combined that focus with graduate level studies at Carlson School of Management’s Human Resources and Industrial Relations program to round out a heavy focus on Organizational Science with Business Acumen.

Today, when not focused on SAP’s growing Human Capital Management line of business, Robert remains active in the tech community providing Angel Investments to tech startups. He is also an owner and principal of a real estate company focused on apartment complexes, residential rehabs, and an ever rising standard of living for its Milwaukee County residents.

Robert is an avid runner, biker, and fundraiser for charities focused on Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and Wounded Warriors. He can often be found training along a Minnesota trail with one or more of his 4 young children in tow.
